ADOBE, PATROCINADOR PRINCIPAL DE OFFF BARCELONA 2011

Antes que nada, tenemos el placer de anunciar que Adobe es ya, oficialmente, el

patrocinador principal de OFFF Barcelona 2011. Es una noticia que nos alegra

especialmente porque, como todo el mundo en este mundillo sabe, su software ha sido y es

fundamental para el desarrollo de la cultura post-digital.

OFFF On Tour MADRID 2011

También nos parece una noticia bomba que en este año no sólo volveremos en junio a

Barcelona, no... ¡También asaltaremos Madrid durante el mes de mayo! OFFF Madrid 2011 es

una iniciativa de OFFF y Gloria ActarBirkhäuser, una nueva librería y galería de arte

recién inaugurada en la calle Hortaleza, que consistirá en:

- Una exposición comisariada por OFFF con la participación de algunos de los artistas

presentes en el festival. Tendrá lugar en la galería Gloria, del 18 al 27 de mayo.

- Un día OFFF en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, el jueves 19 con The Mill, Julien

Vallée, Eduardo del Fraile, Abel Martínez y Cocoe, estos dos últimos presentados por

Wenceslao Sanz (fundador de Domestika.org y MadinSpain).

- Workshop de 4 días con Rob Chiu en La Casa Encendida, del 23 al 26.

Todas las actividades serán presentadas en rueda de prensa, el día 18 en la galería

Gloria, con la presencia de los organizadores y de algunos de los artistas invitados,

además de una posterior fiesta de bienvenida. También estamos preparando una fiesta de

clausura, de la que iremos contando más detalles. Y, como no podía ser de otra forma

tratándose de OFFF, contaremos con Títulos de Crédito especiales para OFFF Madrid 2011, y

tanto el Cartel Oficial como el Programa de Mano estarán diseñados por Abel Martínez. En

los próximos días os anunciaremos más incorporaciones al cartel y os desvelaremos más

información interesante. Además, próximamente podremos confirmar citas de OFFF On Tour en

ciudades como Cincinnati, Estambul o Sao Paulo...

COLABORACIÓN ENTRE OFFF, ÚRSULA Y PLAYBUTTON PARA OFFF BARCELONA 2011

David Cordero, el gaditano que lidera el grupo Úrsula desde sus comienzos y ha conseguido

grandes éxitos en 2010 con su último trabajo de ambient con tintes neoclásicos "Hasta Que

la Soledad Nos Separe", ya está trabajando en un tema de larga duración exclusivo para

OFFF, que será presentado durante el festival en una chapa de Playbutton. El track,

inspirado en el lema de 2011, "Year Zero", seguirá la misma línea de su último trabajo,

"Hasta Que la Soledad Nos Separe" (Foehn, 2010), y será masterizado en los estudios La

Mina por Raúl Pérez, productor de Pony Bravo o Blacanova, entre muchos otros.

OFFF On Tour MADRID 2011

Another big bang for us is that these year we're not only coming back to Barcelona in

June... One month earlier we're arriving to Madrid too! OFFF Madrid 2011 is an initiative

of OFFF Gloria ActarBirkhäuser, a new bookshop and art gallery recently opened on

Hortaleza street. We'll have:

- An expo curated by OFFF with the participation of some of the best artists present in

our festival. It will be hosted by the Gloria gallery, from 18 to 27th May.

- An OFFF day at the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, thursday 19th with The Mill,

Julien Vallée, Eduardo del Fraile, Abel Martínez & Cocoe, these last two introduced by

Wenceslao Sanz (Domestika.org and MadinSpain founder).

- A four-day workshop with Rob Chiu at La Casa Encendida, from 23 to 26th.

Every OFFF On Tour Madrid 2011 activities will be introduced on a press conferenced set

to 18th May at the Gloria gallery, with the presence of the organization crew plus some

of the artists... And later we'll give a welcome party! (Yeah, we're organizing also a

closing party, don't you worry... ). And of course this is OFFF, so we'll have Opening

Credits for OFFF Madrid 2011, and Abel Martínez will design the Official Image and Hand

Program. Soon we'll let you know some details about more OFFF On Tour dates at

OFFF, ÚRSULA AND PLAYBUTTON JOINING FORCES AT OFFF BARCELONA 2011

David Cordero, a young musician coming from Cádiz, in the south of Spain, is the leader

of Úrsula since their very beginning. He's earned great success in 2010 with his last

neoclasic-ambient effort, "Hasta Que la Soledad Nos Separe", and we love that he's

already working for a long track inspired on 2011's theme “Year Zero”, a song that will

be presented on a Playbutton button at OFFF Barcelona 2011! This track will continue the

paths showed on his last LP and he's already got scheduled dates for mastering it at La

Mina Studios, where Raúl Pérez produced some of the best bands in Andalsuia right now,

such as Pony Bravo or Blacanova.
